Every morning with vitamins

The monks taking vitamins in the pictures; the monks take the vitamins every day. These vitamins are kindly sponsored by the generous people of Taiwan to whom we are very thankful. And the Marpa group brought these in here along with other eighteen loads of cartoon recently. So we really thank heartily the entire group for the great hardship they had taken for kindly bringing the goods.

Drinking water for monks

Taking into account the health of all the monks in our monastery, we have put up a very large water-purifying machine with the huge capacity to purify more than 500 liters of water within an hour. The machine cost us NRS 650.000. Miss Tu Chung Ling graciously and most generously donated NRS 470.000 for this purpose. And now we are looking for further financial support for the rest of the amount. We shall always appreciate and remain immensely grateful to you forever for your noble deed.

Small lama immediately underwent an operation

Karma Sonam aged 11 were taken to the hospital at 6 am early in the morning of 13^th September when he felt acute pain in his stomach. After going though various tests he was diagnosed with appendix by the doctor. On his proper advice he immediately underwent an operation without any delay. The operation has now been successfully performed and he is now taking rest. And the treatment cost us NRS 60,000.

So we, from the very depth of our heart, urge all the big-hearted and generous persons for your kind financial support for this purpose. As your genuine help would mean a lot for us, it would help the monk get back with his regular study. At the same time, we would remain immensely grateful to you and by this virtuous deed you will enjoy happiness and prosperity in this and many more lives to come.

Safe drinking water is very essential for one’s good health. And so taking into account the health of entire monks, though of late we had put a few water purifying machines but the water they supply has proved to be insufficient to the massive number of more than 180 monks of the institute. Therefore in order to give sufficient safe drinking water to entire monks we are planning to buy a bigger and nicer water purifying machine that will cost around NRS 650,000. With the machine the monks can easily drink safe and pure water and it will also definitely be in use for many more years in future.

So this is the voice calling for your kind financial help from all the generous persons willing to help us fulfill our dream of buying the so planned machine. Like a drop of water that helps fill the big ocean, so even your small kind contribution for this noble and meaningful cause will definitely on top of the success and prosperity in this life plant a firm seed for the eventual attainment of your supreme enlightenment. Porblem of toothache

The problem of toothache and decaying of teeth has been a major difficulty with our young monks. Lack of proper tooth brush, paste and other these young monks become prone to various illness related to teeth. So due to these frequently faced problems each year 15-20 of these monks have to be taken to the dentist for various treatments, and the treatment includes cleaning, taking out and filing the decayed teeth and so forth that almost every year approximately costs us around NRS 100,000/ And particularly the case of the two small monks, who are shown in the pictures, are quite serious. Their jaws have fallen down which according to the doctor have to be fixed by putting iron on time or it will have to be operated on if delayed. The treatment costs NRS 50,000 for each one of them.
So here is our inner voice calling all you generous persons with warm and wide heart for your kind financial support for this noble cause. Your contribution, though a little, would mean a lot for us and you will plant a seed of merit that undoubtedly ripens you infinite joy and prosperity in this and many more lives in future. Not only will your contribution help these young monks enjoy good health to study but they will further be able to practice genuine dharma for which you will be highly credited.

Monks welfare committee of Karma Lekshey Ling Institute, as per its objective, helps the needy monks and particularly gives full medical treatment to those that suffer from various illnesses. Recently a senior monk of the Institute, Karma Wangyur , who is working as a teacher of our monastic school , suffered from acute appendix and had to go through an operation. The treatment cost NRS 60,000 and after the successful surgery he is now well cured. Similarly each your two to three monks have to undergo such operations due to various complicated heath problems which cause the committee huge amount .
And we, the entire members of the institute, are tremendously grateful to all the generous persons for their kind and constant financial support without which the committee is nothing. We highly rejoice your each and every contribution to it and ensure the noble deed will undoubtedly bring lots of prosperity in your life and definitely be the cause for the accomplishment of your accumulation of thousands of merits.
